Who I Am
After graduating from the California State University at Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, he attended the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Admitted to the California State Bar in 1990, he began his practice at Hefner, Stark and Marois in land use planning and civil litigation. He then received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Transnational Business Practice studying abroad in Innsbruck, Austria, and thereafter, completed an internship in Athens, Greece at the ETVA Bank.
Upon his return to the States he continued civil law practice as a trial attorney and mediator for plaintiffs.
Several years ago, after discovering the serious need for public assistance in the fight against the banking industry- due to the reckless foreclosures that now plague the American economy and millions of homeowners; he founded United Law Center along with his partner of nearly seventeen years, John Sargetis.
Attorney Foondos has dedicated himself to putting an end to banking fraud, predatory lending, and the practice of securitization of mortgage loans that have allowed banks and other big business to unjustly reap billions of your tax dollars, insurance payoffs and questionable mortgage payments- all on the backs of hard working Americans.
Attorney Foondos (“Steve”) states, “It all stops here. Anyone who has been duped into an unrealistic mortgage and now simply wants to save their home, family and peace of mind, will forever have a place to go. They will be assured that their legal case is handled with the utmost care and concern by this law firm- a law firm setting the trend and becoming a leader in the industry. Our challenge is to change the current public image of attorneys- we will meet that challenge.”
Attorney Foondos is an experienced guitar player, avid golfer, and home chef. Being a major history buff, he loves to travel. Stephen is happily married to his beautiful wife Susan and their two most precious things in life are their two beautiful children, Sofia and Constantine (“Tino”).
